HOME  > OPERATIONAL >WSPR >

Data from the WSPR web site relating to monitoring and transmission from VK6YSF Northam Western Australia.

WSPR Frequency: Dial 24.9246 MHz USB (occupied bandwidth 24.9260 - 24.9262 MHz)

Grid location: OF88II

Local Time = +8:00 hours (0:00 = 8:00AM)

Transmission Power 33 dBm (2Watts)

SSN (Sun Spot Number): ?

Equipment: TS-930 at 5W, Radio computer interface

Antenna:   Doublet Antenna:       Multi-band dipole with T-Match tuner and 4-1 Current Balun

                40m Sloper Antenna:  Sloper Antenna  -  40 & 15m Bands with T-Match tuner

10m Sloper Antenna:  10m Sloper with T-Match tuner

                 L Antenna:                L Antenna with T-Match tuner

This exercise was to compare the Multi-band Doublet Antenna, 40m Sloper Antenna, 10m Sloper Antenna and the L antenna for operations on the 12m amateur band.

Conclusion is that there is no compelling performance deference between the Antennas.
