Data from the WSPR web site relating to monitoring and transmission from VK6YSF Northam Western Australia.

WSPR Frequency: Dial 474.2 kHz USB (occupied bandwidth 475.6 - 475.8 kHz)

Grid location: OF88II

Local Time = +8:00 hours (0:00 = 8:00AM)

RX Only

SSN (Sun Spot Number): 29 - 32

Equipment: TS-930 at 5W, Radio computer interface

Antenna#1: Active Antenna V-1

Antenna#2: Active Antenna V-2

This exercise was to compare two versions of the PA0RDT compact active antennas. Antenna#1 was the original designed slightly modified to take advantage of more easily available transistors. Antenna#2 is the PA0RDT compact active antennas constructed with originally specified transistors.

WSPR 630m band activity data recorded for 4 x 24 hour period on the 21/08/2017 -  24/08/017 UTC showing SNR against UTC time, Vertical axis = dB below the noise floor.

Antenna#1: Active Antenna V-1 (ORANGE)

Antenna#2: Active Antenna V-2 (BLUE)

The below additional pings are as result of VK4YB reducing power from 5W to 0.5W at various time over the four days.
