WSPR - 17m BAND - 02 ~ 04/11/2017

WSPR 17m (18.068 - 18.168 MHz) band activity data recorded for a 24 hour period on the 02 ~ 04/11/2017

HOME  > OPERATIONAL >WSPR >

Data from the WSPR web site relating to monitoring and transmission from VK6YSF Northam Western Australia.

WSPR Frequency: Dial 18.1046 MHz USB (occupied bandwidth 18.1060 - 18.1062 MHz)

Grid location: OF88II

Local Time = +8:00 hours (0:00 = 8:00AM)

Transmission Power 37 dBm (5Watts)

SSN (Sun Spot Number): 27

Equipment: TS-930 at 5W, Radio computer interface

Antenna:  Sloper Antenna:  Sloper Antenna  -  40 & 15m Bands with T-Match tuner

Doublet Antenna: Multi-band dipole with T-Match tuner and 4-1 Current Balun

                 L Antenna:           L Antenna with T-Match tuner

This exercise was to compare the 40m Sloper Antenna with the Doublet Antenna and the L antenna for operations on the 17m amateur band.

Conclusion is that there is no compelling performance deference between the Antennas.
