EQUIPMENT

My station equipment and general arrangement at 2016 was as below. 


ANTENNAS CURRENTLY IN USE

ALL BAND HF DIPOLE MK2

Improved All Band HF Doublet was constructed for operated over the entire high frequency band (1.8 - 30MHz)

.

ACTIVE ANTENNA - VERSION 1 

PA0RDT compact active wide-band receiving antenna for lower frequency bands from 10 kHz to approximately 10MHz.

 

GROUND PLANE ANTENNA - 1λ/4 -146MHz

1/4 wave ground plane to be designed for approximately 146.5MHz.

 

GROUND PLANE ANTENNA - 435MHz

1λ/4 wave ground plane to be designed for 435MHz. 

 

SLOPER ANTENNA  -  10m BAND

Guy wire sloper antenna suitable for the 10m band.

 

SLOPER ANTENNA  -  40 & 15m BANDS

Guy wire sloper antenna suitable for both 40 and 15m bands.

 

 

MAIN RADIO EQUIPMENT

 

Kenwood TS-430S 

The TS-430S covers 1.8 - 30 MHz all-mode with 100 watts of r.f. output. 

 

Kenwood TS-930S

The TS-930S covers 1.8 - 30 MHz all-mode with 100 watts of r.f. output. 

The Kenwood TS-930S is a superlative, high performance, all solid-state, HF transceiver capable of operation in SSB, CW, FSK and AM modes.

 

Yaesu FT-736R

The FT-736R covers 50, 144 and 430 MHz bands all-mode with 10 watts maximum on 50-54MHz and 30 watts maximum on 144-148 and 430-450MHz and has programmable channels and tone burst.     

 

Yaesu FT-212RH

Mobile radio covering 144-148Mhz FM at 5 or 45 watts output with programmable channels and scan profile.  

 

Yaesu FRG-7 

The FRG-7 is an all solid state synthesized communications receiver designed to cover 500 KHz to 29.9 MHz.  The FRG-7 is a triple conversion super heterodyne receiver utilizing the Wadley Loop System

 

AWA RT85 

The RT-85 is a widely used ex commercial mobile radio popular during the 1980's. The RT85 has an output of approximately 20watts at 400-500MHz with (5Khz) FM and 1-99channels. 1:4 Guanella Current balun using a L15 ferrite core (1.8 - 30MHz).

  

T-MATCH ATU

1.8 - 30MHz antenna matching unit.
